Pattern Details
The Caribble Hat is a worsted weight hat that is knit in a fun and easy cable rib pattern. Instructions are clearly written, and there is minimal shaping required.

Construction Details
The hat is knit seamlessly in the round, beginning with the bottom edge, and working up toward the crown. The body of the hat is worked on circular needles (16” length) in a cable rib (Caribble) pattern (which does not require use of a cable needle), changing to double pointed needles as needed.

100-200 yds worsted weight yarn
Needles
size 5 circular needles, 16” length (for ribbing)
size 7 circular needles, 16” length (for main body)
size 7 double pointed needles (for top shaping)
Misc
stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle

Gauge
18 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch, using the larger needles.
Change needles size as necessary, for accurate gauge!

Required skills
Casting on, knitting, purling, right twist, decreasing (k2tog and p2tog).
