Crazy Colors 2 Reversible Hat

Pattern Details
The Crazy Colors 2 Hat is a reversible double layer hat, knit with DK weight yarn.
It can be worn with either side facing out, and folding up the brim for a little extra fun and flair.
Instructions are clearly written, and there is minimal shaping required.

Construction Details
The hat is knit seamlessly in the round, beginning with the bottom edge of the first hat, and working up toward the crown. The body of the hat is worked on circular needles (16” length), changing to double pointed needles as needed. Upon completion of knitting the first hat, stitches are picked up and knit along the cast on edge, and the 2nd half of the double layer hat is knit the same way.

200-400 yds fingering weight yarn (100-200 yds MC and 100-200 yds CC)
Needles
size 6 circular needles, 16” length
size 6 double pointed needles (for top shaping)

stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle

Gauge
5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch, knit in the round.
Change needles size as necessary, for accurate gauge!

Required skills
Casting on, knitting, purling, decreasing (k2tog), picking up and knitting stitches.
