The Paterson Avenue Lace Poncho is a DK/light worsted weight poncho that is interesting to knit, and easy to wear.

Construction Details
The poncho is knit seamlessly in the round on circular needles. It is worked from the top down, in an allover eyelet lace pattern, using increases to shape the garment.
As the circumference of the poncho increases, you will need to switch to longer circular needles.

24” circumference at neck edge
60” circumference at bottom edge
18” length (measured from neck to bottom edge)
 
Materials
Yarn
600 yds DK or light worsted weight yarn
Needles
size 8 circular needles, in 24, 32, and 40” length
Misc
stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle

Gauge
5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch
Change needles size as necessary, for accurate gauge!

Required skills
Casting on, knitting, purling, increasing (kfb and yo), and binding off.
