Cozy Little Boatneck Pullover

The Cozy Little Boatneck Pullover is a worsted weight sweater that is easy to knit, and looks great on all the kids. This is a great pattern for beginners. Instructions are clearly written, and there is minimal shaping required.

Construction Details
Sweater back and front are knit separately, and seamed at the shoulders.
Sleeve stitches are picked up along the the armhole edge, and knit down to the cuff.

Yarn
300/440/660/880 yds worsted weight yarn
Needles
size 6 (for garter stitch sections)
size 8 (for stockinette stitch sections)
Misc
stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle

Gauge
18 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch, using the larger needles.
Change needles size as necessary, for accurate gauge!

Required skills
Casting on, knitting, purling, binding off, decreasing (k2tog and ssk), picking up and knitting stitches, and seaming.
